Sissssssy... Hisssss
Fuzzie doesnt sms me all that often.. hmm sometimes, its hard to get him on the phone. I recalled the umpteenth time, I have to give both Deen and him a call to get my message to him. And so when Fuzzie's msg came, I thought it would be something realllllllllly important :) Actually, it IS important, come to think of it. If not, I wouldnt blog it ;P
Fuzzie: Your sis is quite a charmin ladyMyra: Yea, she is. Which sister? How did you meet her? (cause both my sisters are charming)
Fuzzie: The one who cut her hair. In a chat room. LOLsMyra: Hmmm.. Which chatroom? Hmmm.. She wasnt at home just now.Fuzzie: Lol, she came over to Gosh and look for us.Myra: yes, she said she went to Int Plaza for part-time jobs. She is nicer and a very determined person
Fuzzie: I didnt make any comparison between you and her. Myra: Well, I havent heard you calling me charming. I hope you are enjoying your time at Gosh.Fuzzie: She speaks like you so I guess you are charming too. Thanks for you encouragement Babe.At first, I didnt take that as a compliment. My sister is very determined but obstinate at the same time. Sometimes, I wonder why she cant bend and listen to what people have to say. If she had, she might just find it helpful :) Sometimes I would ridicule her for being obnoxious and immature so that she gets the idea of being more accommodating in another way, (cause I sure have no other ways to tell her she should be realistic). I believe me ageing right, made me realise that as much as I think my train of thoughts is right, I should be mature enough to accept other's point of view/ advice. Even if those advices might sound absolutely absurd! And so....saying I speak like my sister, metaphorically or literally, was certainly not a compliment. Of course I didnt expect compliments from my guy friends, who have grown very use to my self-gloating attitudes and hence, was in no way interested in feeding my glorious ego. Hheheheheh. But there is something bout my sis that makes me sit down and watch her in awe. Her positivity. Which might sometimes equate to listlessness. So much so it might turn to madness because even when all things turn ugly, she remains unflinched. She gathers people together and address them in the most polite way to erase any sense of insecurity. She emotes this radiation of love, at just the right timing, soothing disturbed thoughts instantly. Cautious, neurotic and highly agitated individuals like me, know better not to rely on hopes and miracles to survive the chaos. But, even then, we surrender, almost carelessly, into her embrace of positivity. Its almost child-like. Its like believing in fairies, magic wands and wonderlands.
Somehow, Lady Luck is always on her side, she was and still is bless with very good fortune :) Its like how someone from above is protecting her, everytime HE sees her falter. Kindda unfair, cause I have to struggle twice more to overcome such ordeals. It always look easy on her, even when the ordeals she face is more traumatic than mine. It almost unreal to see her overcome soooo many obstacles especially when she is just plain, unruly and simple. Like I said, she is child-like (if only 'childish' had a positive connotation... it would aptly describe her) And yes she is still into that "Strawberry Shortcake" thing. Yes, she like cute stickers of classic cartoons like Polly Pocket, Rainbow Brite and My Little Pony. I am just glad she is not obsessed with Barbie. I would condemn her to a stereotype of a sissy, mindless girl. No offense to Barbie fans... ;p
I probably wont trust her to my kids in future, you probably wont find me in the same kitchen as her, she probably think I am the ultimate pessimist she needs to convert desperately and my mom would probably enjoy her loving company more than mine..... BUT what i know for sure is I cant live without her; my convenient best friend, my enduring childhood companion, my late nights chat buddy and my permanent confidante. I love you Khairun.
